pesto time!



Here is one of my favorite things to eat in the summer time, fresh home made pesto. 


6 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
 1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 tea sp
2 tbsp pine nuts
1 tbsp Parmesan

Yields 1 cup



Wash basil and let dry on paper towels. Then remove basil from stems and add to food processor. Then add olive oil, pine nuts, parmesan, and salt. Then blend together, if its is a little dry add some more oil.
